DANVILLE POLICE FREEZIN FOR A REASON?Norm’s Place Donating Proceeds to the Special Olympics
Wednesday, February 22, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
In support of Danville Police department Polar Bear Plunge Team, Norm’s Place will be donating $5 for every pasta plate sold, on Wednesday, February 22 for their $5 ALL YOU CAN EAT PASTA plates. The event will begin at 5 p.m., with the Polar Bear Plunge team members on hand from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The Danville Police Department will be taking the Polar Bear Plunge for the forth year with Special Olympics Northern California on Saturday, February 25th. The Team is comprised of Christy Dodge, Team Captain of 3 Years, Danville Resident and Special Olympics Athlete. Other teammates include Special Olympic Athletes, Lee Brunskill Kevin O’Brien and John Hammond.
Members of the Danville Police Department will be plunging. Also joining the Danville Police Department Divers are Danville Council Members Robert Storer and Newell Arnerich.

6th Annual Wing Eating Competition
Norm’s Place hosts the 6th annual Wing Eating Competitions on Sunday, February 12 at noon. There will be three divisions held this year.
The first competition will be the Women’s division. Teams made up of two women will compete for the title, Most Wings Eaten 2012 Women’s division winners.
The second division will be the High School Football Coach’s Competition; represented by football coaching teams from San Ramon Valley, Monte Vista, De La Salle and California high schools. Come cheer on your local high school. The winning team will receive a dinner by Norm’s Place this fall, off-site for the Varsity football team. ??The third competition is open division, open to any two-person team that would like to participate. Winners of the Women’s division and Open Division will have their pictures and names immortalized on our perpetual trophy that is featured in Norm’s Place all year long!
This event is FREE to enter as a participant and FREE to spectate. Even if you don’t compete, come by and cheer on the competitors! Hot dogs and drinks will be available to purchase for spectators during the event. Student $5 Special, with I.D.

Norm's Place will be offering reserve seating for the Superbowl at a premium for guests on a first come basis. Restaurant seats will be sold by the table and bar seats sold individually. Cost is $25 for restaurant seats, which includes: Reserved seat beginning at 3p.m., one pint of beer and five wings. Cost is $40 for bar seats, which includes: Reserved seat beginning at 3p.m., three pints of beer and five wings. Doors open 12 p.m.
